I started making videos all the way back at the age of 12 using a Hi 8 camcorder.

I then made short films that were shortlisted for awards and screened at the British Film Institute, on Virgin Media, by Jessops and across the country via the Hansel of Film Tour. I won a youth film award from InTo Film for a volunteer project made for British Swimming.

I went on to work for years at Twofour Broadcast on prime time documentary series and films. Shows I worked on included British Cycling: Road to Glory for Sky, Britains Biggest Hoarders for BBC One, The Railway: First Great Western for Channel 5 and Impossible Engineering for Yesterday/Discovery, filming across the UK, Europe and the US.

Strange places I’ve filmed include thousands of meters below the Swiss Alps, in the core of a nuclear reactor in Austria and in the blazing desert of Roswell, New Mexico (during a rain storm!).

I’ve also worked on commercial video projects for brands and organisations including the NHS, Logitech, McAfee, Visit Dubai, Study Group and many more.

Most recently I’ve been working in a team building an exciting start up company called Tubers Academy, the world’s first academy for young people who want to be online content creators.

‘Tubers have really helped us to improve the standard of the content on our website. We needed high quality videos that would get key information out to parents about video games and age ratings.

But we also needed those videos to be fun and engaging so they’d hold people’s attention.’

Ian Rice, Director General, Video Standards Council

"It was a pleasure working with Sam and the Tubers team to produce promotional video content for our new family board game. The output was 100% on brief and I am confident will serve as a powerful advertising asset for months and years to come.

Thank you to Sam and the Tubers team!”

‘It has been a remarkable experience working with Nick and Sam at the Tubers Video Creators Academy.  Our product videos were produced quickly and came out very well.

We look forward to partnering with Tubers for more marketing initiatives in the future.’
