Art Work Exeter approached us to help facilitate a public, collaborative green screen animation workshop as part of The Legend of The Custom House instillation that explored the mysteries of the 1829 Toll Table through a mixture of history, fact and imagination.

Share provided the camera equipment, lighting and technical set up that allowed members of the public to drop in, move items as part of creating the stop motion animation and see the results live on a television screen.

The collaborative animation project was then projected onto the walls of the Custom House as part of the wider exhibition.

The project was supported by Arts Council England and Exeter City Council.

Sam is a good problem solver and a great collaborator who thinks on his feet and adapts swiftly. In a complex and sometimes turbulent public workshop scenario he always had my back, because he recognised whatever needed doing and he acted on it in a calm, friendly and efficient manner. He was great with people and he also produced a technically impeccable result. Sam is a real pro and I’d love to work with him again.
