DELAYS EXPECTED
ABOUT THE FILM
Director & Editor
In its short running time of just over two minutes, Delays Expected aims to explore the absurdity of social paranoia and the ridiculous stereotypes which unfortunately exist in modern society.
It uses these stereotypes and pre conclusions to help bring the viewer into the story whilst delivering a twist conclusion that defies these assumptions.
Delays Expected was nominated for:
*Selected as part of Virgin Media Shorts Top Ten Crime Shorts 2011
*Shortlisted for First Light and British Film Institute: Ken Loach challenge Award 2011
*Selected and screened as part of Two Short Nights International Film Festival 2011
*Selected for Hansel of Film Olympic film tour 2012 (As part of London Film Festival 2012)

"Professionally made short with a twist in the tale. The performances are strong and the story is economically told." - Rebecca O'Brien (Producer: Route Irish, Looking for Eric)
"It was an absolute pleasure as an actor to work with the team on their short film, Delays Expected. They are a young, ambitious and highly talented group of young movie makers who made the shoot both fun and professional. I highly recommend their approach, their ethics, their application and the end result!" - Anthony Mc.Gloin (Actor)
“I worked with Sam on 'Delays Expected' and was very impressed by his professionalism, organisational skills and ability to conduct the shoot in a calm and unpressured way. He ensured that actors and crew were comfortable at all times and knew what was expected of them.” - Jeff Sleeman (Actor)
