2025: Our Year so Far
Can you believe that we’re seven months into 2025? I know I can’t!
The variety of video projects and content creation training courses that we’ve been delivering have kept us so busy at SHARE that we haven’t had time to post many updates this year, so here’s one big bumper update on what we’ve been up to so far!
We kicked off 2025 with a full rebrand of the business, working with digital agency Octopus Creative to completely overhaul our branding to much better reflect where we are now as the business, our values, and offering all evolve. We absolutely love the refreshed look and hope that you do too!
Part of the rebrand has also involved completely rebuilding our website from scratch (and in-house), which we’re still working on, so bear with us as we continuously tweak lines of copy and muck around with content!
As part of the plan for continued growth, we have also recently joined the Devon Chamber of Commerce. It’s fantastic that SHARE is now a member of such a large network of amazing businesses and we’re looking forward to getting even more involved in the local business community and attending networking events across the county.
We’ve also invested in brand-new video and audio kit, including beautiful new lenses, cameras, and a portable, broadcast-quality podcasting studio as part of a monthly video podcasting package we’ll be launching very soon!
It’s also incredibly exciting to have been recently announced as finalists for not one, but two Exeter Living Awards in the ‘Business Services’ and ‘Creative & Arts’ categories.
The Exeter Living Awards are some of the most sought-after and respected business awards in Devon, so it’s a privilege to be up for two of them, especially since the finalists were whittled down from a whopping 270+ nominations!
The awards take place on October 16th at Sandy Park, home of the Exeter Chiefs, and we can’t wait to get suited and booted! Wish us luck!
Finally, Team SHARE won an award at the long-running Two Short Nights film festival for our short comedy film ‘King of Hearts’, which was written, shot, and edited in just 48 hours. As always, it was fantastic fun and a brilliant screening.
We kicked off the year working with Player Ready VR to produce some new adverts for their ‘Level Up!’ alternative provisions service, which teaches young people in-demand tech skills, including game development, coding, and robotics.
It was lots of fun to work with our friends at Devon Cookery School on a brand-new video content capturing their updated spaces classes and some of their delicious food!
We’ve worked with Headway— the brain injury association— on multiple projects in the year, including a new film for Headway Norfolk + Waveney, and also editing content captured at the Headway Awards 2024 for use as promo material in the build-up to the prestigious 2025 awards.
We were commissioned by the NHS South West Genomic Medicine Service to produce a new video case study about their research and the real-life impact that it has made on a brave little boy Casper and his family.
We spent the entire month of June out in Toronto, Canada, working with One Up Productions on the popular VALORANT Masters esports tournament for Riot Games.
A venue packed full of excited fans, stunning activations, and exhilarating in-game matches, it was fantastic to work with the One Up team once again, and an absolutely incredible experience working on producing the event as well as capturing behind-the-scenes photos and video content.
In amongst all of the work on the show, we did all manage to find some time to head out and see some of the local sites, including the CN Tower and breathtaking Niagara Falls!
It was a real pleasure to produce a series of recruitment videos with the team at ExeChanges, who provide therapeutic supported living for children and young people in Exeter. It was amazing to hear how they change young people’s lives in the city as well as see the amazing homes they manage.
We’re also currently wrapping up on more video productions, which we’ll be able to talk about soon!
But that’s not all! Throughout the year, we’ve also been very busy working on content and edits for our friends at the Games Rating Authority, the School of Natural Skincare International, and Coastal Recycling.
As well as working on video projects, we’ve also been delivering a variety of digital media skills and content creation training workshops, which have seen us training people and teams from a variety of businesses, as well as organisations including Visit Exeter and the NHS.
We’re also excited to be teaming up with the Exeter Innovation Centre and the University of Exeter to produce the Exeter Sessions Podcast, interviewing local business owners and people with amazing stories.
Phew! So there are just some of what we’ve been working on throughout the past few months.
With more great projects booked in over the next few months as we creep up to SHARE’s third-year anniversary!
